Brotherhood

Men of Reform Judaism was developed to inspire men’s fellowship, interest in Jewish worship, Jewish studies, tikkun olam, as well as service to the congregation, Jewish community and the community at large. The Temple Beth Orr Brotherhood organizes and participates in a multitude of events throughout the year. Listed below are just a few of our programs.

Mens Annual Dinner

Each year, TBO Brotherhood holds a “Dinner and Adult Beverage Educational Experience”. This is an extremely entertaining and well attended event open to all Brotherhood members and their guests. Come and enjoy a tasty and delicious dinner!

Yellow Candle Program

Brotherhood organizes the Yom HaShoah Yellow Candle Program. Yom Hashoah is observed as Israel’s day of commemoration for the approximately six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust, and this program provides a way to remember and reflect on Yom HaShoah. A yellow candle and Yom HaShoah prayer is sent to every temple family which enables everyone to observe this solemn occasion.

Brotherhood Shabbat

The annual Brotherhood Shabbat service will be announced. There are a limited number of English speaking parts, and all Brotherhood members qualify for a part on a first come, first serve basis.
