What is College Connection?
College Connection is a sub-committee of Temple Beth Orr’s Sisterhood. The goal of the program is to help the college and graduate school students feel connected to Temple Beth Orr, Jewish holidays, and their family back home. Students who are enrolled in the program, receive a Holiday greeting and gift four times throughout the school year (Rosh Hashanah, Chanukah, Purim, and Passover).
Who can participate?
College Connection is open to Temple members. They may enroll their children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, or friends. Typically, the Temple member makes a donation when they enroll a student to help defray the cost involved with the program.
Can I donate to the program even if I do not have a college or graduate school student?
Absolutely!! We encourage all Temple members to donate and help support the program.
How do I enroll someone or donate to the program?
The form can be accessed and printed using this link: College Connection Form. In addition, hard copies are located in the office and in the Hall of Honors. You may also email Guila Matarasso (email@example.com) or Jeannine Cotler (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information or to get the e-form.
Special thanks to the 2016-2017 College Connection sponsors. We greatly appreciate your support.
